In the middle ages
I’m better than I ever was.
It’s been a terrifying journey,
and amazing what it does-
And then it was I realized
that I’m here for all my cause
‘cause in these middle ages
I’m better than I ever was.
The more I knew, the more it hurt
to understand what I’d been through.
It’s amazing, over whelming and
humiliating too.
But I’m living in my happy place
learning from and for my cause
‘cause in these middle ages
I’m better than I ever was.
I hope you’re at an age where
you’ve learned want not to do.
Why would you try to typify,
when I’m unbinded, bold and new?
And in these middle ages
I praise and thank and pause,
‘cause in my middle ages
I’m better than I ever was . . . |
