We’re hiring for a Housing Advocate in North County!

Catalyst Domestic Violence Services is seeking a compassionate and motivated candidate to fill an Advocate position for our Rapid Rehousing and Housing First Programs. Catalyst uses trauma-informed approaches and uses empowerment models to support people being victimized by intimate partner violence. We are looking for candidates who have skills/knowledge of these practices and who value the diversity of the human experience.

We are seeking an autonomous, self-driven person to provide extended contact with and advocacy for participants and their children primarily around housing and stabilization. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 9:00am-6:00pm and is based at our Chico Business Office.

This position will be 40 hours per week. Salary starts at $15.00 per hour. Bilingual incentive is .50/hour.

Candidates must be available for a post-employment training to be held January 7, 2019- January 17, 2019. The training schedule consists of Monday through Thursday from 9:30am -4:30pm
